3-DAY GLAMPING

Explore the Sierra Baguales on a 3 day adventure for intermediate and confirmed riders!

DAY 1 :

The program commences around 10am with a 130-kilometer transfer from Puerto Natales to the starting point: Estancia La Cumbre. Here, we arrive at the culmination of our journey, immersing ourselves in the rugged beauty of Patagonia. It is at this juncture that the true adventure begins, as we load our luggage in preparation for the forthcoming experiences.

Introduction to your horses that you will be riding for the next days. Off we go!! About 4 hours in the mythic Sierra Baguales with Osvaldo, your guide.


A warm and gracious welcome awaits, with a dinner prepared by a Chilean chef and complemented by some Chilean wines.

Hours in the saddle : 4h


DAY 2 :

We will traverse through picturesque rolling hills adorned with lush green grass. Our destination will be an old Puesto, where we will relish our lunch boxes.

Finally, we will return to the Estancia for dinner and spend the night there.

DAY 3 :

Once we've fueled up with a hearty breakfast, we'll embark on an epic journey up to the awe-inspiring Tetas Las Chinas. As we venture forth, the signs of civilization will fade away, and the untamed essence of Sierra Baguales and Patagonia will reveal itself in all its glory.

Maybe you’ll get the chance to see some wild horses as well!

Back to the estancia, we’ll pack our luggages and head back to Puerto Natales. We will drop you at your hotel.

7-DAY EXPEDITION

7-day horseback riding adventure with shared accommodations in tents, refuges, and estancias.

 

DAY ONE


The program commences with a 130-kilometer van transfer from Puerto Natales to the starting point: Estancia La Cumbre, an extensively renovated establishment equipped with solar panels. Here, we arrive at the culmination of our journey, immersing ourselves in the rugged beauty of Patagonia. It is at this juncture that the true adventure begins, as we load our luggage in preparation for the forthcoming experiences.

A warm and gracious welcome awaits, with a dinner prepared by a Chilean chef and complemented by some Chilean wines, all served by the comforting glow of a fireplace.




Accommodation : Estancia La Cumbre private house, shared rooms ( BUNK BEDS )


  • DAY TWO


    Here, we will have our initial encounter with the horses. Osvaldo, your guide and gaucho, will assign a horse to each guest. The primary objective of the first day is to facilitate acclimatization, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey. We will traverse through picturesque rolling hills adorned with lush green grass. Our destination will be an old Puesto, where we will relish our lunch boxes. Finally, we will return to the Estancia for dinner and spend the night there.


  • DAY THREE


    Once we've fueled up with a hearty breakfast, we'll embark on an epic journey to the awe-inspiring Tetas Las Chinas. As we venture forth, the signs of civilization will fade away, and the untamed essence of Sierra Baguales and Patagonia will reveal itself in all its glory.

    Get ready to witness a menagerie of fascinating fauna, from curious foxes to graceful guanacos, regal condors, bustling beavers, and a delightful array of bird species. And who knows, if the stars align, we might even catch a glimpse of those elusive pumas later in our expedition!

    The trail will lead us downhill, offering mesmerizing views of the renowned Torres del Paine on the horizon. The excitement won't end there, as we'll eventually arrive at our cozy Estancia, where we'll spend the night, sharing stories of our thrilling day amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia.

  • DAY FOUR



    Get ready for an exhilarating full-day horseback ride to Laguna Azul, with a delightful lunchbox to keep us energized along the way.

    And guess what? We might even catch some untamed wild horses!

    As the sun sets, we'll treat ourselves to a true Patagonian delight: a mouthwatering asado de cordero, where succulent lamb will be barbecued to perfection over the fire for a whole four hours! Trust me, your taste buds are in for a treat!

    But the fun doesn't stop there! We'll also get to savor the famous Patagonian drink called "pisco sour" – it's an absolute must-try!

    When it's time to call it a night, fear not, as we'll have cozy tents all set up for us in the camping area.

    Get ready for an unforgettable experience, surrounded by the beauty of nature under a starry Patagonian sky!


  • DAY FIVE



    Today's the day we conquer the magnificent Torres del Paine National Park! Get ready for a thrilling 9-hour horse riding, covering about 50 kilometers of pure adventure. We'll ride from Laguna Azul to Rio Serrano, soaking in the breathtaking sights along the way – think crystal-clear lagoons nestled amidst lush forests and majestic mountains, all topped off with views of glaciers!

    We'll refuel with a lunchbox to keep us going strong. We'll continue to revel in the natural splendor of one of the most beautiful national parks in Patagonia!

    Once we bid farewell to our trusty steeds in a cozy paddock, we'll catch a ride to a refuge where we'll spend the next two nights.

    We'll embark on a 15-minute walk to reach a delightful dining spot.

  • DAY SIX


    Riding from Rio Serrano to Lago Grey (4 hours) after removing all saddles we will say a final goodbye to our beautiful and brave horses.

    Then we’ll have the opportunity to take a boat to Grey Glacier (3 hours) to admire the Glacier from the Southern Patagonia ice field and taste some calafate/pisco sour. Lunch box location will depend on arrival time. We will enjoy a scenic 45 minutes hike to get to the boat. Transfer back to the refugee for the last night of the trip.

  • DAY SEVEN


    Breakfast and transfer back to Puerto Natales/Airport.

7-day Horseback Riding Adventure with Exclusive Lodgings: Hotels and Glamping

 
  • DAY ONE


    Transfer (approximately 2 hours) from Puerto Natales airport to Estancia Cerro Guido where you will assist to an estancia experience, live the daily experiences of the gauchos and country people; Then we’ll head to our accomodation, Baguales Glamping a place surrounded by rolling hills and towering mountains located in the Northern side of Torres del Paine, right next to the border of Argentina. A Calafate sour, (typical Patagonian drink) will be waiting for us at our arrival. Dinner at the puesto, then we will spend the night at the exclusive Baguales Glamping in domes with private bathrooms.



  • DAY TWO


    Full day horse ride in Sierra Baguales, about 6 hours, exploring the untamed, breathtaking landscape. Lunch in an old Puesto, a place where the gaucho (Patagonian cowboy) lives. Dinner and night in Baguales Glamping


  • DAY THREE


    Riding to Estancia Cerro Guido (7 hours) taking lunch box in between and then sleeping in an authentic working estancia, neighbors of the famous Torres del Paine National park. You’ll get to admire spectacular views from the salon where gauchos go to bring in their sheep.


  • DAY FOUR


    Full day horseback ride to Laguna Azul, lunchbox on the way. Opportunity to see some wild horses! Asado de cordero ( Lamb barbecue ) scheduled for the dinner and some pisco sour! We’ll spend the night in a cozy house with view on the mountains.


  • DAY FIVE


    Horse riding from Laguna Azul to the Rio Serrano (9 hours) about 50km passing along the Lago Sarmiento, enjoying wild landscapes between forests and mountains near lagoons in Torres del Paine National park. Lunch box on the way. We’ll keep riding and enjoying one of the most beautiful natural parc in Patagonia! After leaving our horses in a paddock a transport will pick us up to have dinner and spend the night in Rio Serrano Hotel.


  • DAY SIX


    Riding from Rio Serrano to Lago Grey (4 hours) where we’ll have the opportunity to take a boat to Grey Glacier (3 hours) to admire the Glacier from the Southern Patagonia ice field; lunch box location will depend on arrival time. We will enjoy a scenic 45 minute hike to get to the boat. Transfer back to the hotel for the last night of the trip.


  • DAY SEVEN


    Breakfast and transfer back to Puerto Natales/Airport.

    Full day horseback ride to the waterfall Salto Las Chinas, where we will have lunch and then head to Laguna Azul crossing the river Rio Las Chinas and back to the Laguna Azul ( 6 hours). Typical Asado de cordero ( lamb barbecue )


  • DAY FIVE


    Horse riding from laguna Azul to Rio Serrano (9 hours) about 50km passing along the Lago Sarmiento, enjoying wild landscapes between forests and mountains near lagoons. Lunchbox on the way. After leaving our horses in a paddock a transport will pick us up to have dinner and spend the night in Pampa Lodge.


  • DAY SIX


    Riding from Pampa Lodge to Lago Grey (4 hours) where we’ll have the opportunity to take a boat to Grey Glacier (3 hours) to admire the Glacier from the Southern Patagonia ice field; lunch location will depend on arrival time. We will enjoy a scenic 45 minute hike to get to the boat. Transfer back to the hotel for the last night of the trip.


  • DAY SEVEN


    Breakfast, check out and transfer to Puerto Natales

    Check in in our hotel, free time to go shopping and discover this little town walking by the coast.

    OPTION STAND UP PADDLE for the more adventurous!!


  • DAY 8


    Boarding on the boat to Estancia La Peninsula, located on the shore facing Puerto Natales. Coffee and let’s ride again! We will be riding through the native forests and the pampa, chasing amazing views and riding along beaches. We’ll stay at a nice house in the middle of nowhere, where you’ll feel nature as his best.


  • DAY 9


    Full day riding and exploring, but besides exploring the ever-changing nature around the area, the peninsula Antonio Varas also have some fascinating archaeological sites to visit too.


  • DAY 10


    Horseback riding back to the main estancia, Estancia La Peninsula where the boat is waiting for us to go back to Puerto Natales.

    Transfer to the Airport ( if needed ) or to have an end-drink on the shore!
